Pastors and spouses are encouraged to arrive Sunday evenings after 4:00 p.m. to familiarize themselves with the property. Retreats end at 11:00 a.m. on the following Friday.
During the five days and evenings of the retreat, individuals are free to take advantage of the common areas at Highpoint or stay in their suites. Each suite includes a comfortable queen or king sized bed, bathroom with shower and/or tub, desk and sitting area for study. The common areas include the Great room, Sun porch, screened-in veranda, multi-media room, ball-room/library, tennis court, swimming pool and 11 acres of tree-lined grounds surrounding the house.
Self-directed paths of study are available for all retreat attendees. Each room is supplied with several books, teaching tapes, music and other materials, which will aid the participants in refreshment and reflection.
Breakfast and lunch foods will be provided Monday through Friday for individuals to enjoy at their leisure. All guests will gather in the dining room each evening for dinner together.
Highpoint has space to accommodate four to five couples each week. Individual pastors in full time ministry may attend, but are encouraged to come with their spouses whenever possible.
